There is two for sale at the moment in the Midlands, one is left hand drive and the other right. Both pretty tasty.The owner also rallies another one. You've know idea how difficult it was to convince Mr. Chicki that he could not afford to buy them even if it would "complete the collection" as he said himself. (he has a 1991 5GT T)

A mate of mine has one in Dublin which i had in my possesion for a good while ! Great fun car , they were in the guinness book of records at one stage for something to do with the power output for the cc ! I think it was 160 bhp from a 1397cc !!!

Who has them for sale chicki??? only one I know in use in Ireland is Jim Butlers blue one and thats based in the South East. I ythink that yellow and black one is his aswell or his brothers.

Is the 5GT T still alive, thought that would have died yrs ago :shocked:

Have seen quite a few of the R5 Turbos over the years, Tour de Corse version was my favorite. There's a lovely pearl white one in a collection belonging to the owner of a graphics company in Dublin, think it may have appeared in a thread on here last yr

if anyone is ever looking for one of these then John Price (http://www.johnpricerallying.co.uk/) in the UK is the man to contact, he has rallied them and maintained road going versions since they were launched

A friend of mine has just bought one, it is blue and heavily modified and tuned. i have not had a chance to take a look yet.

Very nice pics there guys im drooling over them, I wish id been around to see the car. It was a blue one with the orange carpet and seats. My dad still talks about it now and he has a 911 turbo.
