Nice one. They are great rockets in Mondello. Pity about the image though cause they really are a great car.

Really nice car. In amongst all the messers, these cars really stand out at the mondello open days. They must be good for lift off oversteer too, I saw one that was consistently broadside through bikeworld :)

ya the image thing is a prob
it is a boyracer mobile really

hence i'll not be using it drive around :P

i had one years ago ,(when i liked noise and big wheels etc. its amazing how quickly you get too fat for bucket seats:'D

however , they are quick , and reliable (usually)so its ideal for track
and easy to sell on at end of year :)

one lady owner in Ireland the girl i bought off has a mini cooper s now

i'm sure there was about 10 japanese lunatics before her tho ,

now just to get up to 150 posts and i might be let in to the otds also !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've never understood this image thing, positive or negative.

the integra r is a great car.

can you explain the image concern ?

if i had one i'd drive it everywhere, why would you want to hide it ?

I have to agree with that. My only real gripe with the ITR is that soooooo many are white, but thats a personal thing.

Japanese Championship White. Which to them is the same as British Racing Green etc..

Have to admit I'm not a fan of white myself.

That's a very nice car for a track car I have to say.

Sure white ones are fashter :'D

The problem with them image wise is that there are far to many imitations around with huge exhausts!

Great car tho.

Ah yeah, i know its a racing colour thing but white just aint my thing on cars. :]

I remember Griffin had one of these for a while in black when we were about 18. Great car, funny night. VTEC just kicked in....YO! :D :D

i think once you pass 25 your too old for white boy racer type car s???

i think that most teg r drivers dont appreciate what the car was made for , and thus they are mostly driven by straight line squirters, young and more concerned about "jaysus there is some whack of that exhaust" than actually the track capabilities of such a car, so when you see a mature driver in one it looks odd ?

anyone else agree ?

yoiu could say something similar about porsche. ferrari, etc - pretty much all cars have some popular, negative stereotype owner but it doesn't diminish the car itself surely ?

most passat drivers for example, don't appreciate that it was actually made for lugging bags of milk replacer from the co-op.

Not really, 25 was about the age I could actually start to afford to insure anything that wasn't a 1.2 litre shopping trolley! I guess expectations have risen a lot in recent years, so now this sort of stuff is seen as "starter" cars.

great track car. strip the balls out of it and put the stuff back in when your selling it. have a look on DTD IRL. some of the lads on there have done serious work on these cars and it would be a great place for advice on integras

I'd like to see this at an Octane Track day. It will make alot of people say "Jesus thats fast".. They look good for a jap car, Handle great, Accelerate like a fast yoke and they're bullet proof. Hope you enjoy it. I regret not buying one years ago.

Oh and big shock... Hag used to drive one!!

I dont know how people start out in something like a teg
Id say itd be a great track day car

I think it depends on the person......theyre just far too shouty for me.........there was a top gear bit on these from ages ago reckoned it was the best handling of anything on the market at the time(was up against som hefty stuff aswell)........theyre animal and Id love one but the amount of hassle a young lad would get from an gardai

Class car, i bought one myself 2weeks ago, i must put up a few pics, mines a 98spec too and I love it, the handling is class, it just sticks into the bends so well and the sound off them in Vtec is class.
Best of luck with it and make sure you have good security on it!

Japanese Championship White.

Championship beige is such a lovely colour :'D :hat:

Insurance is a lot more affordable for us younger folk now though. It's kinda strange that at 23 and without having 5 years ncb yet that I can insure most of the cars I would want to own at a price I am willing to pay.

Oh and big shock... Hag used to drive one!!

The boring non-vtec dual carb version if I remember rightly...
