View Full Version : BBQ - Lighting the Phucking Things
I poured on some Zip stuff that's meant to soak in and be "Easy to light".
Me hole.
So I tore up loads of cardboard and bunged it on, that failed...
Found a can of Zippo lighter fluid and that got it lighting and then I kept squirting on the Zip sh1te till it started to take.
Pain in the hole so, what's the best way to light them then?

Today I took some of Matt's advice and combined it with the old fashioned firelighter trick. Sticks and firelighters are king. Light them, bang on charcoal and hey presto, BBQ lights.
Of course sticks aren't always going to be easy to find. :(

Get the BBQ coals in a bag (you know the ones where you light the bag with the coals inside). Once lit throw in the real coals on top of it.
